Design Trends for 2021

Warm, cozy shades are becoming popular in interiors and are ideal for creating this welcoming atmosphere in any room. You can never go wrong with a white design but try introducing colors like aqua or burnt orange. Warm beige isn’t too far from white but makes a room cozier. Paint durability has improved immensely recently so you can invest in a product that looks great and withstands intense cleaning. To really brighten your day, try the Pantone Color of the Year 2021, which pairs the bright yellow shade called Illuminating with the cool, calm neutral Ultimate Gray.

Backlit mirrors and medicine cabinets are hugely on trend and provide the perfect lighting for your vanity area plus accent your wall color and double as a night light. Quartz countertops are proving to be massive in 2021 due to their great color range, durability, and non-porous anti-bacterial surface.

GO ORGANIC

This year sees an increase in organic style for kitchen and bath design. Our need to connect with nature is becoming apparent in all aspects of kitchen and bath design. Neutral palettes and matte finishes are accompanying organic materials in diverse textures. Everything from stools to cabinet hardware are giving a nod to nature, providing calmness in bathroom and kitchen remodels. Nothing beats natural hardwood flooring like the kitchen design below, but wood-look tiles offer a durable alternative for moisture-prone areas of the home.  They are ideal as they are waterproof and low maintenance but still offer the visual appeal of wood flooring. Technological advances can be embraced by everyone as we move into 2021.Touchless faucets also let you wash by motion or voice control and even obey instructions for specific amounts of water you require. This makes cooking meals more efficient and hygienic. Another kitchen advancement is the auxiliary oven.
